IV Hydration & Vitamin IV Therapy

Leaf divider
How do I prepare for my IV hydration or vitamin therapy treatment?

Many people find that wearing a short-sleeved shirt or loose clothing makes it more comfortable during an IV treatment. In addition, drinking water and avoiding energy drinks before coming in for your treatment will make starting the IV easier.

How do vitamin IV therapy and shots differ from taking oral vitamins?

With both vitamin IV therapy and shots, fluids and vitamins bypass the gut and can be absorbed more quickly and in higher concentrations than taking a vitamin pill. Most people feel the positive results of vitamin IV therapy within one hour and the effects of vitamin shots within 24 – 48 hours.

Does it hurt? Are there side effects?

Similar to any IV treatment you’d receive at a hospital or clinic, there may be some initial discomfort during the initial IV placement, but no pain once the IV has started. Some people may feel a little cool during the infusion or experience a temporary metallic or “funny” taste from the vitamins.

How long do the benefits last?

The effects of the treatment vary by individual, but the positive effects generally last 1–3 weeks. It’s important to be attuned to how you feel before your treatment so you can gauge when you feel you need to schedule your next appointment.

Can you accommodate a group?

Yes! We are available to come to your event or business for an additional concierge fee of $75 within 20 miles of Boston. Contact us at [email protected] for more information.

Botox and Dermal Fillers

Leaf divider
Are Botox and Dermal Fillers Safe?
Both Botox and Dermal Fillers are very safe when performed by a trained and certified
practitioner.
Can you get both Botox and Dermal Fillers at the same time?
Absolutely! Botox and Dermal Fillers rely on different principles to treat lines, folds and wrinkles so the treatments can be done together. In fact, receiving Botox in addition to Dermal Fillers can make the results last longer.
Are there any risks involved in receiving Botox and Dermal Fillers?
Both Botox and Dermal Fillers can cause temporary pain, redness, swelling, and tenderness to the area. With Botox, there may be temporary side effects such as droopy eyelids or brows.
How long do Botox and Dermal Fillers last?
In general, Botox treatments can last 4-6 months while Dermal Fillers can last anywhere from 6-12 months.
What are Botox and Dermal Fillers made of?
Botox consists of a toxin produced by the bacterium clostridium botulinum. In small doses, trained practitioners use it to temporarily smooth out facial wrinkles and improve your appearance. Dermal fillers consist of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring polysaccharide that is present in skin and cartilage.
